The two self-catering properties at How Head both have wonderful views across Coniston Water to Coniston Old Man and the surrounding fells. Badger’s Cottage and Mole’s Cottage each offer accommodation for two. In a beautiful setting, peace and tranquillity make this a place away from the rush and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy a relaxing and romantic break with a wealth of activities and places of interest close by to explore.

The cottages have fully equipped kitchens, including electric oven and hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave and dishwasher. A small welcome pack with tea, coffee, sugar and a pint of milk are included. Bed linen and towels are supplied. The cottages have Wi-Fi, oil central heating, an iron and board, hairdryer, small hand soap and a supply of kitchen detergent. During cooler weather an initial supply of logs and kindling is provided for the wood stove. Additional wood can be purchased in the village.

Each cottage has its own private outside seating area surrounded by lovely cottage gardens and stunning views.
