How To Find Us
From Coniston village head for Hawkshead towards the top (north end) of the lake.Take the turning right, signed for ‘Brantwood 1.5 miles’. Pass Monk Coniston car park on your right. How Head Cottage is half a mile along this lane, on the righthand side, just after you have passed the junction signed ‘Newby Bridge East of Coniston’. Look for the tall Victorian lamppost and use this entrance. Drive around the property to the signed cottage parking.
